ANOTHER UPDATE, YAY!
We know, we know ... it's been AGES...
So, we better have something GOOD
to tell you, right? -and we do.
The recording of our album is going great.
and when we say great, we mean GREAT!
Even with the tracks unmixed, it already
kicks more ass than anything you've heard before!
Seriously, this album is gonna be one hell of a
weapon to fight for good music all around.
Eventhough we're still working on the album,
we already have a release-date for you:
the 28th of August.
And with a release, ofcourse, there's a party:

SILENCE BEFORE THE STORM...

Last Thursday, DJ recorded

We were very
pleased to see how many people
came out (in the early morning!) to support us,
and sticking around all day!

VIDEO HEROES WANTED!
Always wanted to participate in a movie?

Here's your chance to do both!
Deliberate Jeopardization is gonna record a
music video, for the titletrack of the
Blue Horse.
The track is called "Embrace the (self)hatred"
(downloadable from this site soon)
Recording starts on the 23rd of October.
Location will be at BAROEG,
Rotterdamn.
In the morning the filmcrew will record a scene
of the movie, and around noon, the recording
of the musicvideo will start.
We need "crowd" for both videos!
At the end of the day, we will thank you in the
best way we can: by ROCKING THE PLACE!

RACING, RACING!
After Racing back and forth between
Heerhugowaard and Amsterdamn, DJ was ready for two shows
on one day...
It was quite a rush, but you made it all worth it!
First Rocking a show at Komplex
(with a freaking PANDA in the audience?)
and later on: the BIG MELKWEG!
Damn, good equipment, good technici, good venue, but most of all: good
vibes!
Since we played quite late in the evening, the place was PACKED!

it to the semi-finals of the EMERGENZA festival.
Since this round is gonna be held in Amstelveen, we decided to arrange
a kick-ass bus!
This bus is gonna pick-up people in 3 places.
Here you can get on and join the madness, have a kick-ass time at the
P60, vote for your favorite band (wich will be us ofcourse!) and afterwards,
the bus is gonna bring you back to the place you got on!

WINNING STREAK
Hell Yeah!
After placing themselves into the finals of the
Popprijs Brielle, Deliberate Jeopardization continued
their winning streak last Thursday.
The Exit was packed, and the people had to vote for the bands they liked.
After the last chord of the (short!)set, nearly ALL hands were
raised!
Needless to say, DJ got themselves placed into the semi-finals.
Deliberate Jeopardization would like to thank all the
fans that came out to support us, and all the new fans ofcourse!

PLEASANT SURPRISE
Deliberate Jeopardization recently
rocked the TexMex, Spijkenisse.
Since the show was on a Friday, we didn't expect too much of an audience...
We were gladly mistaken!
In no time, the place was PACKED and when Virtually Nothing kicked off,
the place was turned upside-down!
You'd think that people would get tired after such a show, but when DJ
took the stage, you showed us just how energetic the
people of Spijkenisse can be!

ROCKING IN THE EAST
Yesterday we played at FLASHBACK, Vriezenveen.
Due to trafficjams, we came in very late.
Good thing that our technician Robert already sound-checked our shit,
so we could storm the stage within 5 minutes and rock the hell out of
that joint!
Robert, YOU ROCK!
We'd like to thank Incission for providing the backline (and a soundguy!),
Cypher for bringing their noise and ofcourse: the people of Vriezenveen!

RUMOUR-CONTROL
It has been rumoured long enough, but none is

Unfotunately, Dennis has decided to quit DJ.
WHAT? Yeah, you've read that right;
After playing with us for more than FIVE years, passionately putting in
all of his heart, Dennis decided that his musical destiny is elsewehere.
We'd like to thank him for helping DJ get their EXPERIMETALsound
and ofcourse, for all of his non-compromising work at the low tones ;)
I'm sorry for all the tabloids, but that's all there is to it, no fights
whitin the band, no people beating eachochter to death, after this we'll
still remain friends and you will definately see more of Dennis at our
shows, and with his new musical projects, trust us ;)

So are you ready for the third
(and final) chapter of our Hungarian tour?
On Tuesday the 6th of February we were preparing to rock Budapest. We heard a lot of good things about the Suss fel nap (the club where we had to play that night) and when we arrived we saw why the club looked awesome there even was a bar in the backstage! Not that we used it the whole time. We had some nice things planned for the audience but because there was a misunderstanding about what time we had to play, so unfortunately we couldn't go through with that plan. We were planning on having some guest singers on stage that are very well known by the locals. So if you're reading this Andras, Ozskar, Mate and Balint, thanks again that you where willing to rock with us and sorry it didn't go the way we planned. Due to the misunderstanding we had to play first and that's why a lot of people missed our show. However, we had a great night and saw a lot of friends, even some friends from Holland! How cool is that?!!
The day after we had a lot of driving to do to get to the southern parts
of Hungary, to the university city called, Pecs. It was about a 4 hours
drive to the venue, following the van of the Insane guys that joined our
journey once again. On arrival we walked up to a big college and it was
clear that we had to play there at the "TK" dormitory. After
talking to the organizer we found out that it was the first time on a
Wednesday.To make this a monthly thing, he needed around 60 paying visitors,
so we really didn't know what to expect of that night. When the people
started to come in the first band "Starfunk simples" started
playing and the audience was enjoying themselves with their instrumental
music. After them it was our turn and right in the middle of the second
song the power fell out and we had to wait until it was back on again.
We didn't let it stop us and even with 2 more power outs we really made
the crowd move and had a pretty good show. Then it was the turn the guys
from Insane, that even though the power went out with them as well, really
tired out the crowd and had an awesome gig. We even were tired and we
were happy that we didn't have to drive back that night and that we could
stay the night with our new found friends. At the end of the night we
heard there where about 90 to 110 paying visitors so the organizer must
have been happy as well with it.
So another day, another show…after saying goodbye over a homemade
pizza to our Pecs friends we drove off for Vezsprem for our next show.
The "Expresszo" was our next battleground for the night. Normally,
it was a movie theater but for tonight it was turned in a really neat
venue. It wasn't the busiest show we had but together with Insane we once
more succeeded turning it into one big party. We had a long drive ahead
of us again. We went to stay with the family of Mark, in the town called
Kunyar near Debrecen and we arrived around 7 o'clock in the morning. We
were worn out!!! So first some sleep!!!
Finally Friday!!! As the weekend begun, we had great expectations for tonight for a busy show. We had to play in Balmazujvaros in a place called BAKI Ih. It was a kind of youth center in this small town. Soon after we arrived, Insane arrived as well. They had stayed the night at their hometown, Budapest. That's why we had split up.
After talking to the owner we came to the understanding that we were the first foreigners ever to be playing there! So, we were very honoured, and so was the owner! At opening time a lot of people starting to come in and at the time we had to play the place was packed with people! From the first note we played the crowd just went nuts. Lots, of jumping, bumping and dancing. They really know how to make a party in Balmazujvaros. Around the time Insane had to play we even joined the crowd and totally blew the roof of the place, What a night!!!!!!!
Every journey has it's end the next night would be ours. We only had one more show left to play in Hungary and with the guys from Insane. Before we had to say our goodbyes.
The last town we needed to demolish was Kazincbarscika. This promissed to be one hell of a last party. We had a surprise planned for our friends of Insane and they told us they would have one for us as well. So we were very curious!!!
The "Sport" was the name of the place where we had to play and when we got there we found out there was no local support act that night and we had to play first. We wouldn't let that stop us and started with our last act of this Hungarian tour!!! After a few songs the guys from Insane came out of the backstage dressed up like butt-ugly women to come and dance with us on stage and squirt some champagne and spayed some fake snow. Now you know why these guys call themselves Insane! We didn't know then (because of the monitors on stage) but they also we're playing a Paris Hilton song out of the speakers. But, because we didn't hear it we just kept on playing and playing!!! And we had a great (and funny) last show. When it was time for Insane to play, it was also time for us to show our surprise. This was basically same idea in a different way. How is that possible ?!
We bought some pink, yellow and colored wigs stripped down to our underware and wrote "Insane buzi crew" on our chests, which means something like "Insane Gay Crew" and ofcourse we brought some champagne as well and when they started to play the song "Army of Cheaters" we rushed out and joined them as well on stage. I wouldn't want to be the cleanup crew after this party but the crowd really loved it and ofcourse we had one hell of a night as well!!!! After saying goodbye to all our good friends it was really time for us to head home again. This was a tour we will never forget and we will always keep in our hearts and thoughts!
Thanks to everyone who came out to our shows, the people who work at the venues we rocked, the bands we played with, everyone who opened their homes for us, Matthias for coming with us for a great sound and of course everyone else we might have forgotten!!!!!

DEMOLITION TOUR 2007 REPORT 2
Are you all ready for the next exciting adventures of Deliberate Jeopardization
in Hungary? No, well here it comes anyway....
On friday the 2nd of February we drove to Szombathely to check out the
venue and prepare for the show. We did leave in time however.... we ended
up an hour late, because of the "Insane" drivingskills of the Hungarians.
These guys can sceeze a van between anything, and when you finally get
a chance to follow them, they are nowhere to be found. They do not find
the use for a rearview mirror but do know where the gaspedal is... We
drove to the city ourselves and called them to ask where the venue was
and found out that somehow we were closer to it then they were!!!
Finally, we arrived at the venue and took a look inside, damn it was huge!
So we expected it to be crowed but somehow only somewhat people showed
up. A little disappointing but we still had good fun with the Insane guys
and the people that did showed up. We played together with Say Out, Insane,
and Greedy Fly. When Greedy Fly went up the stage we found out that we
just spend two days at the drummers house and we did not even know, WHOOPS?
This is probabely because he only speaks Hungarian and the others just
did not mention it haha.
The next afternoon we said goodbye to our friends in Gyor, said goodbye
to Insane. They had to play in Kultiplex, Budapest. DJ was headed to Szekesfehervar,
Fezen Klub. We had time enough so we found a Chinese restaurant were we
had a nice meal. The waiter even spoke Dutch, ahuh? Watched some movies
and went looking for the venue.
When we arrived there were already lots of people waiting outside. This
venue was packed with people inside too! We played together with Stigma,
Fudwo, The Idoru and the allmighty...Superbutt! When DJ entered the stage
at last the front row was packed already during the soundcheck. Mark was
cursing in Hungarian during the soundcheck and they all went mad. That
promissed something good, and HELL YEAH it did. Already at the first song
there were lots of people crowdsurfing and trashing the place (..and each
other) The whole night after the show we had to give autographs on all
bodyparts, crazy crowd! Conclusion, it was a damn good show and as a bonus
we got to see Superbutt in action!
After Superbutts show we went straight to Kultiplex in Budapest where
we did a small afterparty and re-united with Insane. Luckily, they have
had their own successfull show. We then all drove (also some Austrian
guys, from the band Loxodrome) to the bass-player's house, where we will
stay for a couple of days.
Today we had our first day off and used it to sleep, eat and basically
...do nothing what so ever... we had to reload our own batteries. Tomorrow
we have our second (and last) day off and we will check out Budapest and
get some more drumsticks and plectrums because they all were nice souvenirs
for the people at Fezen Klub. They fought for it!
Hopefully, we will succeed tonight to also put some live images online
so you can find out yourselves that Hungary rocks like hell

DEMOLITION TOUR 2007 REPORT 1
Yesterday we arived in Hungary after a 14 hours drive and we arrived still
about 5 hours too early. So time to pick up some sleep you would think
!!! Wrong !!!
We couldn't get into our accomodation for that night yet because this
guy was still at work. So we tried to sleep in the car untill it was time
to rock which wasn't really a huge success!
When the guys from Insane arrived we could finally go into the venue for
that night,... the "V2 Music Klub" which was inside a boat on the river.
Pretty weird huh!
When we went inside we had to go downstairs to go into the club we had
to play like 1,5 meters below the water level which is a pretty strange
idea when you think about it.
The first band of the night was a metalband called "checkpoint charlie"
they played very well. If I have to describe what they sounded like it
was sort of a mix of hardcore with Hungarian goulash soup.
After that it was our turn to get on the stage immediately the adience
responded very good and we played a very impressive show!!! The crowd
loved it. We also played a short version of Insane's song "the army of
cheaters" the guys from Insane were laughing there asses off and the night
went on!
Finally, the guys from Insane entered the stage for their first show of
the 8th aniversary tour. You could see the crowd come out specially for
them. They went totally "Insane" and rocked the ship so hard you could
feel it move (and it was a big ship) After the show we all got on with
the party and got a lot of reactions from the crowd!!!!!
It wasn't the busiest show but for a thursday it wasn't bad at all.
Now we finally could go sleep when we came to the appartment it was very
small and the 13 people just barely fitted in the room but we managed
and we are very greatful for them putting up with us. Tonight the second
show, we can't wait to see where we end op next.

UPDATE
It's been a while, but FINALY we
updated the site.
As you all might know, DJ is supporting Blo.Torch
with the SUPERTRIO-concept.
DJ will play 4 shows with Blo.Torch,
every night
being supported by a HEAVY local band.
Each show will cost no more than a lousy 5 euro,
so there is absolutely NO EXCUSE to miss this.
We're pretty hyped about this 'cause this is gonna
be one hell of a blast !!!

in a program called JAMCITY.
This is a bandcompetittion and the winning band
gets the posssibillity to record a professional videoclip of one of their
songs !!!

Technical Difficulties
This weekend DJ rocked
Wantijpop.
Bad luck stroke down on us hard and if it wasn't
for all of you hardcore DJ fans, this could have
been a disaster.
Eventhough we experienced quite some
technical difficulties, we played our asses off;
JUST FOR YOU -YOU GUYS (and girls) ROCK !!!
Thanks to the
amazing crowd-reaction, the great
weather and the "climbing on stage" this was
another gig to remember.
NOTE:
The security didn't like the climbing on stage ...
BUT WE SURE DID !!!

First of all: HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
The year 2006 has begun and what a year
it's gonna be ...
DJ will be performing more and more this year
and this time we'll spread our experimetal sound through all the corners
of Holland !!!
Some of you already heard, but now it's official:
DJ wil participate in the metal-package of something
that's called the SUPERTRIO.
We think this initiative from the PopUnie
is a great way to learn from a more experienced band.
Speaking of wich:
This package consists of no less then the almighty Blo.torch
(the Hague), Deliberate Jeopardization and a local band, chosen by the
venue itself.
Believe us, this is gonna be a rush, so check the tourdates
for a venue near you.
To round-up we'd like to thank ROBBIE for being the first

Alright !!!
DJ Has been very, very busy in the
studio and it's going really swell !!!
All of the drums are recorded and
so are the bass & guitar parts.
Next week DJ will return to the studio to
record the vocals and do some finetuning.
The way things are heading right now, it's
gonna be quite a rush in your CD-player !!!

The Promo-disc will contain not four, but six devastating
